Has anyone had any experiences with or have any thoughts/opinions on the millett multidot scope?

I apologize for not giving anyone enough information to really be able to respond on this. I would like to put a red dot on a .22 automatic pistol, and am also thinking about one for a 357. One fellow I work with mentioned checking into the millett multidot. I went to our closest dealer looking for any suggestions and info on red dot scopes. The dealers response to me was this: "none of them are any good" :confused:
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
