Cheap Reloadable Full-Power .44M??

UMC 180 grain used to be my favorite, but I just ordered some from Natchez and got a box of 25 for what I had thought was a not-too-great box of 50 price!
WWB and PMC look like the best prospects in big-name factory ammo, but I'm not married to brand names. However, I am carefully saving cases, so I do at least want to get something with virgin cases. I went through a case or so of Samson, but haven't seen it in awhile; and somebody advertised FNM (Portuguese) .44M, but I can't find any currently. Any suggestions? (240g is fine too.)
Thanks!

I like the MagTech 240-grain loads.
Good, stout loads, and are pretty good brass.
It's also about the cheapest around here.

I too, like Mag Tech brass.
But I've had no problems with PMC either. And WWB is, or course, good brass.
I have been buying 240 gr SWC and JHP .44 Magnum ammo from Miwall at my local gunshows.
It's the cheapest ammo I can find ($10-$12 per 50) and they use W-W virgin brass for their .44 magnum loads.

Another vote for the Magtech 240 grainers.
Nice, stout loads... good consistency, low price. Works for me!

I have collected about 700 of the MagTech cases, they reload nicely and seem to last just fine. It is the cheapest I have found around here, about $15 for a box of 50. Makes me cringe to buy it though, my reloads are typically around $75 per THOUSAND. Star-Line makes great brass, and you can buy it and reload it for the same cost or less than buying Mag-Tech and loading the cases, what I mean is you will be cheaper by a lot for 2000 rounds with virgin Star-Line than with factory ammo and 1000 reloads. New brass is sometimes the way to go.

I am currently re-loading:
UMC, PMC, WWB and Magtech cases. All have been reloaded several times with no problems (10gr Unique pushing a 240gr. JSP) and no notable differences.

Now I'm worried, just ordered the other day some of the same for just under 14 a box, better be the box of 50 or I'll give them heck!! I just checked the web site again and it for sure says 50 round box??
I guess I will have to wait to see.

HSMITH has a good point, if you buy by the 1,000 or 2,000 lots, you save money. It's about 60% the cost of "range ammo" to load by the 1,000, including the cost of virgin brass. Even cheaper once you start loading the same brass.
'Course I don't know how you guys got started, but I wanted to reload for a long time before I actually started, but I collected every piece of brass I could from the range until I started reloading. I won't be buying brass for a while (except that loaded for "serious" purposes).

Magtech is cheap, but if you're going to reload, just buy the components separately. I found this out AFTER I already ordered a case of Magtech.

I like the MagTech 240-grain loads. Good, stout loads, and are pretty good brass. It's also about the cheapest around here. Ditto here, when ''lazy man'' syndrome strikes, but otherwise, reload is best.

Here is a list of some .44mag prices I compiled a while back.
Enjoy.
