I wonder why, when the Security Council debates the efficacy of America's desire to disarm Saddam "one way or another", we constantly hear France, Russia, Germany and others bemoaning the unilateralism of America, calling for restraint, more inspections, giving Saddam another chance to comply, etc etc. ad nauseaum, that the representative from America or from England or another of the countries that support us, do not call into question the motivation of France, Russia, Germany and others for opposing compliance to 1441 by Iraq or suffer the consequences, now. I mean directly and bluntly! If we are going to war, we ought not to be mincing words here, I don't think.
In other words, tit for tat! Why not expose the ulterior and yes the unilateral motivation, economic and political that each of these recalcitrant nations stand to gain from the status quo? Can anyone illuminate me as to why the US delegation and others seemingly are mum about our "former" allies and the deals that they or their leaders have struck with Saddam? And why doesn't someone insist that this be part of the equation?
There certainly seems to be a wealth of information freely floating around the various media outlets, Fox etc... to bring this to light in the forum of the United Nations.
