I wanted to know if it is possible to bob the hammer on a 637? If it can be bobbed will I get light primer strikes? Anyone made this modification to their revolver?

Hammer bobbing is a very common practice. The new MIM hammers can be bobbed as well. No, it won't produce light strikes on any S&W with a good mainspring. (Some folks get into trouble when they try to bob the hammer AND lighten the trigger pull by messing with the spring,)

I am wanting to the same thing with my 637 but I wish someone made an aftermarket hammer for it that was already bobbed. Does anyone know of one?
