have wanted to take some good pic’s of two of my favorite 45’s, a Kimber Gold Combat and a S&W Performance Center 945, but both are so shiny the pic’s never come out right, It’s hard to take decent pic’s of shiny objects and I'm not very good with a camera anyway.

I finally got some ok pic’s, still not the best but not to bad I don’t think.

Anyway I thought I would share them with you guys and see what you think

Thanks for sharing. I think you did a very good job with the lighting.

I just wish I had a 1911 to take pictures of. :(

Thanks for the beautiful pictures/beautiful pistols. Also, those are fantastic grips on the Kimber, if I might ask who made them? Now, the ultimate question, which do you shoot better with :)

Hate to admit it, but that's an attractive Kimber... wicked looking grips.

Most of the time I shoot the best with the 945 but it's very close, both are a dream to shoot.

I had a little trigger work done on the Kimber (it’s about 3lb’s with around a 1mm release to reset) so it has a little bit better pull than the 945 does and that helps even them out some shooting off hand.

Over all the 945 is a little more accurate and has a little less felt recoil, on a good day both will shoot under an inch at 25 yards from a rest and will plink 12oz cans from 50 yards all day long if the shooter does their part,

I’m sorry guys but I don’t know who made the grips (I wish I did, I love the way they feel), I bought them at a gun show years ago and they were in a clear plastic bag with a rubber band around them. If I can find out I will let you guys know.
