Yugo SKS GL sights...How work?

I have no problems getting the ladder sight up and the gas system closed, but how are the sights actually used?

If the ladder is used as the rear sight, what's used as the front sight? Is it:
1) the tip of the extended bayonet
2) the tip of the rifle grenade
3) something else I don't see
Google searches haven't come up with much, so I ask here.

TIA.

I think its the tip of the rifle grenade, I believe the bayonet cant be extended with the grenade installed.

I believe Kharn is correct.

There's some drawings of how to shoot grenades near the bottom of this page:

Raised ladder sight used as rear, aligned with the high point (ogive?) of the round, upper radius or edge of the grenade.

The illustrations at that web site helped things out a bit. Thanks.
