Glock Glockler

I was in the Exeter industrial park looking for companies to sell to, and lo and behold, who do I see but SigArms. Even though they are a named account that I cannot touch, I decided to make a pilgrimage and go inside.
I was greeted by some very nice people, and I demanded to see the head honcho who decides what guns are produced. The guy there said that it would probbaly be him and asked what he could do for me. My beef was with the Sig 550, or it's lacking presence in the USA. I wanted them to produce a domestic version that could get around the 94 Crime Bill with a compensator and configured to accept M16 magazines.
He said that they have been considering something like that but the big problem is the uncertainty with the Bill's possible repassage, or even it's strengthening. If the Bill does die a quiet death, they will produce one here. Keep in mind that he was telling me all this after telling me about his experiences in the testing of the Sig 550 family. He claims the gun to have AK level reliability while having the accuracy of a pimped out AR.
I don't know about you people but I want one of these guns BAD, and to be able to put a flash suppressor on the damn thing. I also want to be able to get a full-cap for a Glock 20 for $10. I also don't want to see any further encroachment of my rights.
If we want to pull these and other nice thoughts off we are going to have to apply sufficient pressure to the scheisse in Congress, and that will happen when 1) we have numbers that will cause great concerne for the re-election hopes of said scheisse, and 2) when those numbers will be motivated to take political action.
To this end, I propose an Adopt-a-shooter program, where all of you lovely people will bring 3 new hardcore shooters into the fold. These should be people who you think can have a lot of fun while shooting. Take them with you to the range and let them have a ball. Whet their appetite, but then show them what they cannot have.
No matter what, our success and even survival is dependant on growing our numbers and then leading them to action at the right time.
Get on it!
