Gunkote Second coat?

Can I lay a second coat of gunkote over a baked on existing coat?

I baked my project springfield last night and after looking at it, it's OK, but I think it'd be improved by one more coat on the external surfaces.

Can this be done? Will the new coat stick to the cured undercoat?

Thanks,

I would call Brownells. Their support line for questions on products that they sell is excellent.

Degrease everything that you need to recoat, than recoat it and rebake it,it will be fine.I do this with mine own guns to add or change colors.

The oil less surface is key. I prefer two thin coats instead of one medium or heavy coat. Just like spray paint!
