I am going to be purchasing my first shotgun ever in the next few months, a Winchester 1300 Defender 12ga. 8-Shot, and I am trying to go ahead and figure out what accessories I eventually will put on my new gun. I have been looking at different flashlight attachments and I kind of like the Surefire forend grip with attached flashlight, but I also want to put a pistol grip on the forend as well. Are there any pistol grips that will attach to the surefire or are there any combos that include both features from some other company? I have heard from a member of another forum that I frequent that is a forend that has both a pistol grip and flashlight and that the batteriest go inside the grip. Is there something like this for the Winchester 1300? If so can I get a link?

The only thing I've seen that would accomplish a VFG and Light on a pump gun uses a rail system that replaces the forward handguard. Once you have the rails on there, any combination of VFG and light is possible.

The Surefire comination VFG and light is the M900 series (http://www.surefire.com/maxexp/main/co_disp/displ/carfnbr/266/sesent/00).

I've never been a fan of VFGs on pump shotguns, but YMMV.
