Oh knowledgable one's what else do I need in my begining collection. I have:

Fullsize Kimber
Kimber Compact
BHP
CZ75B
PM9

I'm planning on a .22 conversion for the 1911s and possible a "real" 22 as well. What else should I have?

A SIG or Glock. SIG makes a better range toy, collectors item, but Glock is a great carry piece.

A revolver.

I'll second on the revolvers. Something in .357 Mag and .44 Mag would make nice additions.

I agree -- a revolver is next on your list. A .357 in a 4" barrel is about as versatile a gun as you can find. Load powder-puff .38 Specials in it, and you have as good a woodsman's pistol as any .22. Load a few snake-shot rounds, and it's even better. Carry it with full-charge loads for defense, or with stiff loads of heavy cast bullets for larger game.

And one great thing about revolvers -- they don't throw your brass all over h*ll and gone, and leave you looking on your hands and knees after each range session. ;)

Another vote for a revolver. I have a Ruger, S&W, and Taurus. Want to get a Dan Wesson, Colt, and maybe even a Mataba to round out my brand loyalty theme ;)

A progressive reloader.

Rick brings up a good point. Having enough ammo to become proficient in what you have is a really nice thing. You won't actually save any money but you'll get to shoot a LOT more than you would otherwise on the same budget.

I'd still recommend a revolver too. ;)

You need to take up reloading. It may or may not save you any money, but you'll shoot much more and shoot more accurately, and take more pride in your shooting, as well.

You need to add a couple of revolvers to your stash to even things out a bit! A .357 Mag / .38 spl or maybe a good .44 spl would be just what the doctor ordered! ;)

Guess I'll pick up a revo and a lever gun to match.

I've been kicking around reloading but have never gotten around to it. I may have to in the future.

Now I just gotta get my purchase priorities in line.
