Hi Folks!

I have a Hornady Pro-Jector and reload some rounds in .40 s&w for IPSC shooting. Now i found in the www the automatic case feeder for the new model LOCK-N-LOAD. :)

Al my friends are Dillon-boys and so i can not get any infos about Hornady stuff. Even the Hornady distributor in Germany has no idea. :banghead:

Is it possible to use this "speed up" part also with my old press?? And if yes, will it work without big troubles?

Questions over questions and no answers here in Austria.

Thanks for your help and nice greetings from Europe

Bernd

i have an LnL AP. like it. i found a projector cheap, i bought it. i shipped it back to Hornady for a tune up and some small parts that were missing. come to find out Hornady has a lifetime guarantee also. you pay shipping both ways. it is dedicated .357. LnL does the other calibers, which are easy to change over. i would recommend you call or write Hornady with your question. they are in Nebraska somewhere. been so long i forget the town. the projector runs very good in .357, but i do not remove the dies. the LnL is very similar, but i got a boodle of bushings which then snap in to change calibers.

does the case feeder fit the projector? i have no clue, but think a strong "maybe" as it and the LnL are so similar. the case feeder will be one of my purchases this year if my disposible income is not absorbed by my gun buying habit. sorry i have so little to offer.

I asked Hornady that same question in 2002:

There's a rumor I've heard that Hornady is working on a case feeder for the LNL AP. Is there any truth to this? If so, is it possible that it might/would be adaptable to my Projectors?

Here is their response:

Tis true. We're working on it now and hope to be shipping by late fall and it will fit your Pro-Jector.
