Does anyone have one and are they any good?


I want to get one but before I do I would like to know what other people think about them.

I've seen and handled three of them, and shot one. Overall, I was very disappointed in their "fit and finish" level - they looked more butchered than gunsmithed, if you know what I mean. The one I shot was OK as far as accuracy went, but not more than OK. Quite frankly, I'd rather have a Marlin Guide Gun.

I have a guide gun already. I thought a BA rifle in 45-70 might be interesting for deer hunting or at the range.
