Looks like a great way of promoting the sport. Top notch work. :)

DOF is perfect. You can read ".22", but the rest just BARELY too out of focus to make out. Details on the pistol are perfectly sharp. Go Oleg!

Great photo, the words don't roll off the tongue easily though. Something like 'Nowhere else can $10 buy so much fun'. Great idea.

What kind of revolver is that? And is that a safety to the left of the hammer?

Ok, that one is great :D . Oleg, Im loving your posters this week. Now I have to choose between this and Kitarias shooting sports picture for my laptop background. Keep up the awesome work!

Wonderful! Makes me want to go out and buy a SA Ruger and a couple of bricks of .22s!

Hey Oleg!
Love your work... looks like youve been burning some midnight oil on it judging by the time of your post. Get some well deserved rest!

It's a Heritage arms and that's the safety. http://www.heritagemfg.com/

I'd have used a Single Six. :D

Excellent as usual.

Very nice; angle, croping, lighting, the whole 9 yards.

I like the idea, but I have to agree with MaterDei, it doesn't roll off the tongue very well. Maybe you could just drop the word "afternoon".

I like it. And I agree with Flatfender about using a Single-six instead of the Heritige Arms as the Ruger just feels so much better in the hand.

1) Delete "afternoon". It rolls off the tongue better, and is more accurate a statement too.
2) Using "A" single-six is a great idea, but I'd prefer the Ruger. This one is distracting with all it's little bits and pieces, extra screws and the like. Ruger's is super-clean lines. IMO, prettier too.

3) It's a great poster, Oleg, and will stay a great poster whether you buy in to all our "helpful suggestions" or not.

I like this one. Perhaps in the future you could do a similar one, but with a family smiling and enjoying a .22 and some empty cans? :) Maybe even some caption about family togetherness?

"Plinking -- the second most fun way to spend a perfect afternoon."

Excellent again Oleg ... my - what a week of posters!!

I do agree with Fud tho - the ''afternoon'' word seems potentially superfluous to me and it reads better without it. More concise and ''punchy''. I can see tho why it might be there - to suggest the long term enjoyment from an entire brick of ammo. Not four minutes ... more like four HOURS!! :) It's still darned good regardless.

The Heritage useage is no biggie - very few (if any) non-gun folks will be bothered ... and anyways, it is great detail anyways. Not a prob.

Can I shoot it! Nice pistol.

I see no problems with using a Heritage, it's the epitome of a plinker... cheap, reliable, isn't so "pretty" as to tempt one into "using" it as a safe queen, and the one I've shot, which was even the cheapest of the cheap ones, was accurate.

The image is top-notch, as always Oleg. The verbage is a bit obtuse though, *I* would phrase as "The most fun in an afternoon..."

But we all know the truth about critics... :D

My comments aside, well done my friend, well done.

My Heritage Arms .22 was my first gun ever.

Still have it, only 1 1/2 years later (but trust me, I wanted a gun way longer than that), and it is still a good shooter. Its been to the factory once, but I still like it!

Great work though! :)

I'd drop the quotes and initial-capitalize "Plinking."

i don't think this one is quite so good as the other Oleg work, because it would only get a good reception on a gun board. your average person outside the gun culture would NOT think that was a .22. and even if they do see the .22 written on the box, wouldn't know the significance.

when somebody tells me they're going "plinking" that tells me something about what type of target they're going to be shooting and why they're going shooting, and occasionally where. it doesn't tell me what caliber they'll be using.

i'd rather see something like "a whole afternoon of fun for under $10" along with a bunch of pictures of shot up coke cans, etc.

And isn't that the truth. I've spent many pleasant afternoons with just a 22. :)

I just thought of one I'd like to see. A picture of a bunch of perforated cans in a trash bag. The caption could be; "The fifth rule of responsible shooting, pack out your trash".

I'd put one up in every gun shop I could, some of our fellow shooters need reminding.
