Oh boy!

The holster fairy came today!

I finaly got my Alessi Talon Plus for my Kahr MK40 ... its beautiful, Lou does some real nice work :)

I'm gonna stuff the Kahr in it tonight when we go to dinner and get some groceries ... we'll see how much better it is then my ole bellyband was :D

Congratulations. I got my "Alessi Talon Plus" for my Kahr PM9 a couple days ago. You're right, Lou does make some nice holsters.

Okay, after wearing it for a little while this evening, here's my impressions (compared to my belly band).

Pros:
More comfortable (especially driving)
Much better retention
ability to re-holster easily without going to bathroom
easily removed and put on (again, without going to bathroom)
better protection of the trigger
Looks like a "real" holster :p

Cons:
doesn't conceal as well (nothing conceals as good as a belly band)
no built in spare mag pouch


Overall I'm real happy with it. The workmanship and overall quality is excellent (much better then elastic and velcro ;) ).

The only thing I would change on it is the cant. Its at about a 15 deg "FBI" cant, and I'd like it to be at about a 25-30 deg ... however with the belt I had on tonight I could rotate the holster forward enough that it was fine.
