In Memphis,Tn any where from 420 on up,depending on store,and model of rifle. To around 650 or so.

Bay Area: Traders (San Lendro) and Sportsmens Supply (Campbell) have them on sale occassionally for $450-500. Or you can pay high $500's like I did and buy on inpulse. These prices are/were for the "old" version. I do not know whether the "new" version will cost more.

Buy a used one. IMO they are preferable for many reasons. You can get them all day here for $375-$425, I don't know how they are $$ in Cali. Older ones seem to be more accurate, I have heard theories about tooling being worn in the later years. Anyway, I love mine, but I wouldn't shell out the $$ for a new one unless I heard that the retooling in the new models fixes the accuracy problems that seem to be more inherent in 185- and later models.
