Can anyone tell me what the law is regarding semi auto shotguns and magazine capacity in California? I could be wrong but I seem to remember there being either a Federal or State restriction regarding magazine capacity if the gun is equipped with a pistol grip (for example a Benelli M1 Super 90)? What about if no pistol grip?

I know the Federal Crime Bill sunsetted but unfortunately here in CA we are still under the thumb of Sacramento and the DOJ.
