I found this great free screensaver program and I want to make a gun screensaver with it (my busty bikini babes screensaver didn't wash with the ladies in the house  ) So post pics of your guns or just guns you think look purty. Ideally, the images would have to be pretty big (like bigger than 600x600).
I'll start it off:

This is not new to most - but I was always pleased with it .... and in hi-res version makes an attractive wallpaper (IMO). So - could be useful in other ways - perhaps. More in the ''action'' category than a ''still-life'' classic sorta shot of course. :p

The Hi Res (http://www.bedford.net/design/shoot/jb_shoot/454_flash_hires.jpg) version is 1494 x 1059 and 330k. Download if you wish, while I still have it on that server.

I have the originals of all of these but since they are 1.8 megs each, It would take up too much of my free image hosting account. (and they are at home)

UberPhLuBB where did you get that 10 round Colt Magazine?

eBay, my good man. It's been a couple of years, perhaps they've tightened up a bit, but you may still be able to find them. I believe I paid around $30 for a pair. There were a TON of them when I got mine, I only see one on eBay right now and it's already more than I think I'd pay.
If it's not numbered to 10 and doesn't have the prancing pony on the bottom, it's not Colt brand and you ought to avoid it.
If you have a magwell, you may have to trim the black plastic base cover a little in order for it to seat fully.

Holy carp, man what was your shutter speed for that? I've been wanting to go out to the desert at night and play with my camera and some guns.

Skunky - as I have mentioned re this shot other times - it was one of those pics I hardly feel able to claim full credit for.
Camera for that was my lil' Kodak DX6340 ..... not much ability to set things manually but - had my son resting it on one bench to right of me - and we set exposure time to something like half second - and he said ''go'' - and I went!. What was so surprising was, not just that we got the exposure as seen, but - seemingly the gun froze, it's sharp - when in fact it was - you'd think - ready for some serious recoil. It also nicely shows the twilight sky.
Maybe just plumb good luck - and I have tried to reproduce this using my Minolts DiMAGE A1 but - and this is odd - got caseydog to shoot rounds for me whilst I operated camera on manual. Shutter at 1 sec ... various apertures etc - and darned if anything at all would register ... zilch. Yet to explain that!
So - thus far this pic counts as ''one o' those things that you get now and then'' .... possibly never to be quite repeated, tho I have it mind to do some more experiments sometime.
