.357 Sig questions

I have a Para Ordnance P-16 .40 cal that I like a lot. I shoot it well also and carry it some (all guns that I might carry are 1911-ish types). I am considering getting a .357 Sig barrel for it in order to increase its 'fun quotient' and its versatility. I have not shot a .357 Sig at all.
What can you guys tell me about your experiences with the .357 Sig? What about its ballistics, accuracy, recoil (compared to the .40), optimum bullet weight, etc.
Thanks for any info you might have.

I much prefer the 357sig to the 40 S&W. To me, it's more accurate & has more controllable recoil than the 40. Sorry, I don't have the #'s you requested, just a subjective opinion.
I like it! :D

I do. Buy the 357SIG.
I shoot a SIG P229 357SIG and it's now become my favorite round. It's got the horspower to do the job but the necked down round is milder to shoot, faster to recover and more accurate than .40S&W.
