Yes, it's legal as long as there are no slots in the flash hider and no E2 stock with pistol grip. If you're bringing it into California, it must come with 10 or 5 round magazines (no 20 rounders).

I seem to see listings for these rifles on a regular basis. Check the M14 forums like m-14forums, amback, and warrifles. They pop up on arfcom from time to time too.

I don't live in Kalifornia but from what I hear its OK. I think the kritters that run Kalifornia consider's these "less lethal weapons"? :confused:
