I have to say, I am impressed. I fired approximately 500 rounds over three days, on a brand new gun, never cleaned, and it never malfunctioned. It even began to rain on us the third day. It worked with #9 skeet loads, 00 Buck, and slugs.
This shotgun is certainly different from the semi-autos I'm used to, but I think it is a better design. The way a round can be in three different places (chamber, tube, or on shell ramp) is interesting. It also allows you to load up to 9 rounds. The only negative is the length of pull. With the stock extended it is too long and collapsed it is too short. I am lucky I am a tall guy. I was barely able to get the stock into the pocket of my shoulder.
Anyone else like the newest Benelli? (we call it the M1014)
