...I hope you are up to your ears in homework, and not getting any sleep. I had to share what MY Child did to her Grandpa - it is all your fault...

...now it was bad enough when you taught her to squirt Whip Cream into her mouth, she was only 5 and the first time or two it was "cute"....

...when she was 7 you suggested she put Whip Cream on her Mommies hand while asleep , then tickle her with a feather...yes I used YOUR name in vain, I not only got Whip Cream on my face, but on the sofa, the sofa pillow and carpet..."daughter" laughed so hard she peed herself...and the dog - I swear the dog was laughing too..

...Now I appreciate learning to shoot, I appreciate the lessons for daughter and the single shot 22 rifle....she took to shotguns - "for some strange reason" ( smirk)...

Daughter has Grandpa wrapped around her little finger...and Grandpa and Daughter really had some quality time with the 28 ga reloader you found , fixed up and gave us...

Daughter took a shine to 28 ga shotguns ( wonder how that happened)...Grandpa got back to shooting them too...

Grandpa just informed me -he don't know what happened. One minute he and grandaughter were out and about - next thing he knew he had bought a good used Citori in 28 ga...grandaughter had a smirk...he thinks...she was jumping up and down - he said it was kinda hard to tell...

My kitchen smells like Hoppe's No 9 , and they used up all the paper towels and didn't put on a new roll...I got a note saying they would be back after a bit...

...dog got into the trash, threw a fit...he does that when he sees shotguns, gun cases and does not get to go - gonna blame you for that too...

Momma and I are going to get a fast food burger....the two "children" can fend for supper on their own...

It is all your fault,....

Thanks a LOT,

x

:D

Some emails are worth edititing for privacy and sharing.

I bet they snuck out for Beef Jerkey and more reloading components - ;)

Steve,

You know, you ought to _try_ and leave some trouble around for someone else to get into...

Too cool Steve!

Oh, and thanks for the idea. My seven year old neice is coming to visit next month. I'll make sure there's a copious supply of whipping cream around. :D

Steve ... not sure whether I am suffering a pre-cognitive guilty conscious but - so much of that seemed like a letter I might get!!! :D Not now perhaps ... but a bit later on. :p Looks like I have to get some practice in soon on some ''things''

Nice! :)

Just because one is a dear friend of mine don't mean they are immune to my ways.

Some stuff they don't have a cure for.

Persistent, consistent, onery, hard-headed, stubborn, practical...thems just some of the words used to describe me. Art's Grammaw does not allow the others on this Forum. :uhoh: ;) :D

Dogs are not exempt either...there is a reason why they retrieve my birds, and protect me against their owners... :p

You will note that Smoke and kudu are real nice to me...Trapper is too... :D

My grandfather got me into shotgunning and gave me my first shotgun... Sniff. Thanks for the memory.

Great story, thanks for sharing :D Keep getting in "trouble" like that, and the next generation will turn out all right :) .
