I've got my heart set on a few as of right now.

1. A Steyr S9
2. A S&W 1076
3. Arsenal Inc. AK type rifle in 5.45x39 (stamped reciever)

I'm hoping to be able to pick up both 1 & 2 shortly. I want the Steyr first (need smaller carry gun in a full power caliber) but the 1076's are getting harder to find and going up in price.

The AK's are plentiful right now.

Baers are great pistols, but there are some other good options in CA. You can get a Springfield Professional, Springfield TGO1, Wilson Tactical Elite, Wilson CQB, Ed Brown Kobra Karry.

I also want an MP-153 but not real sure why. just sounds like a good hunting gun. It's a great looking and feeling gun. Haven't gotten to shoot one yet(mine's on layaway), but the look and feel is good. I haven't had to pack a gun anywhere, so I can't say if it would be trouble on a hunt, but I liked the feel. Add to that the self-adjusting gas system that'll take almost any shell without a wrench, and you have a good thing.
