These would be of use to swat type teams. Its not really for genraly militeray use. I saw this a couble of months ago already.

If a bad guy walks around the corner then your partner will shoot him. Or you drop that device and pick up your mp5/m4.

you only use it with a team, everyone else is ready for that.

That was their point....it's not a "give it to every guy" thing, it's a "give it to the pointman as you clear a building slow" thing. And it does lock in the forward position as well to be used basically as a carbine, with a push of a button.

I guess shooting around a corner could be usefull, assuming that the dude is standing still and letting you do it. But, it seems like a pretty small advantage when you consider that you are giving up a lot of your ability to shoot at guys who are right in front of you.

If anyone on here has spent any time clearing trenches you know what I mean. You need a TON of men and a TON of grenades. This corner job could give you a few extra seconds without exposing yourself.

I think you need to shoot around a corner with a 40mm you need some major remedial education..you shoot over the building and if the building is in the way you level it with the 40mm.

buttrap, a 40mm grenade is not going to level a building unless it's a tin hut. A HE round for the M203 weighs just a tick over a half pound...

Granted, they are hella fun to shoot, lobbing those things 300 m is great...I love seeing the round arch through the air!
