Thank you for that 3" M24 JohnK, I'll put it in my screensaver if you don't mind :):):).
And I have to check with my computer literate wife about using my polaroid and her scanner... for a 3" M629 & 3" M65LS. Also have a 2 3/4" Speed Six that is an old favorite.

I too have become very interested in the 3" guns. I don't have one as of yet but am seriously considering the Ruger GP100 in 3" with the full shroud. I picked one up and found it was one of the most perfectly balanced revolvers I have ever handled.

3" Model 65, currently at the 'smith. It's getting shimmed for end shake elimination, matte bead-blasted for looks, and an orange front sight ramp for practicality.

Here's a picture of my new model 65 Lady Smith that I purchased Thursday. I met my sister at the range today and we tried her out. The circled target on the left was my 1st 6 shots in .357 caliber. The target on the right was my 1st 6 shots in .38 caliber. All shots were at 15 feet. She shoots wonderfully and is my new carry gun.
