Mitt Romney in 2008: Disaster

There's a bunch of people considering running for President in 2008. One of them is Mitt Romney.
Well, here's a little something from 365Gay.com (http://www.365gay.com/newscon05/02/022205romney.htm)
Funny thing is, he stabbed gun owners in the back and he's presented himself as anti-gun in Massachusetts. This goes to show that just because they agree with you on one issue, doesn't mean they will.
Mitt Romney is your quintessential "Trust the government above all else" type. No freedom for anyone.

I saw Mitt on some news show around the expiration of the AWB. He said that he did not want the AWB to expire and didn't see why people needed "assault" weapons.
I seriously hope he doesn't run.

Anyone who wonders just where Mitt stands on the gun issue should read my posts about him.

A politician from MA winning the '08 presidential nod from the GOP? That's a pipedream. No one who can't play well in the South and the West has a prayer of becoming the nominee.
I'd be surprised if he mounted a campaign because there will certainly not be any "smart money" on his candidacy in the pre-election cash race.

Mass. governor just to get his ticket punched before moving on to higher office; Senator, if not a national position. Another rich, elitist manipulator looking for self-aggrandizement on an ever-larger level. :barf:

We already have a R.I.N.O. in the White House.

I disagree. He might be a C.I.N.O. (conservative), but he is a Republican through and through.

I disagree. He might be a C.I.N.O. (conservative), but he is a Republican through and through. Considering the big government borrow and spend globalists the Republican party has become, I'd say you're right.

It now has 83,000 people in it, and it is now an incorporated city.
