Who Else Thinks Colt Should Make .22 Revolvers Again?

After getting a hold of a Colt Frontier Scout, I'm convinced that Colt could make a lot of $$$ off of a nice .22 single action pistol.
I think this would be a nice addition to the market. Anyone else?

Single action revolvers never feel right in my hand, but I'd definitely like to see the return of the Diamondback in both .38 special and .22 long rifle.

I owned a Frontier Scout last year for about 2 months. For six weeks of that time, it was in the repair shop. I won't be lining up any time soon for another.

i think that most folks in the market for a SA .22 wheelgun would choose the ruger single-six due to price and reputation for ruggedness...that would be a hard nut to crack.
on the other hand, i would love to have a companion piece for my 4" diamondback. i'd also like to have a stainless .22 diamondback...both in 2.5" and 4" please

Me!!!
Getting back into the rimfire market is something Colt has needed to do for a very long time. However, I realize the gun business is not about making money so it will never happen.:(

I have never regretted the two Diamondbacks I have. The .38 has a four inch, while the .22 has a six inch barrel. I would like to get another pair to hand down to my sons...so I'll keep watching!

Yeah, that would be okay to make one, after they reintroduce the 10mm Delta Elite and buy Kimber

I like the idea, but I don't think it would happen. In my opinion, I don't think there is enough market to justify the tooling expense for a high end .22 revolver. I think alot of people that want a single action .22 will go for a Ruger, or a used Colt. In Colt's current marketing and manufacturing philosophy, this revolver would probably be a Custom Shop or very limited edition offering with a corresponding price tag like the Python, etc.
Strictly my opinion though.
