I was able to trade nasty pieces of paper with pictures of dead presidents for a bunch of knives yesterday. :D

In the batch were a Randall Model 1 and a Model 25 both unsharpened with stag handles, a Cold Steel Trailmaster in stag, a large AGRussell Bowie in stag, a Cold Steel Blackbear (japan), a Marbels Expert II in leather, and an AGRussell Arkansas Toothpick bolster lock folder in blacklip MOP! All for a very reasonable price.

I may bring them with me to the THR shoot at Coal Creek this afternoon along with the Gold Cup NM that I picked up last saturday.

Sorry if it sounds like bragging, but I'm "tickeled" that this helps make up for all the lousy deals I've made over the past few years.

Yep. Nice guy, old redneck hippy Viet vet gun/knife nut, who's shifting to precision rifle and needed bucks for a Varix III LR Target. If I'd have known that ahead of time I'd have bought the scope for him and traded for the knives and saved a couple of bucks.
