I just got a brand new Walther P99 (Military model) chambered for .40 S&W. What's the best ammo for 1) target shooting\practice, 2) defense?

On the cheap target\practice end of the spectrum any opinions on Magtech? Any other recommendations?

As for defense MagSafe or CorBon?

Any stuff to absolutely stay away from?

Thanks,

Abe

Mine is okay with everything I've tried. Usually carry Corbon 165g, and practice with whatever I can get the best case price on, except Wolf or Blazer, which I can't use at the indoor range where I shoot. S&B, Winchester White box, UMC, etc are all fine.

Enjoy! Its a great pistol.
