Hi,
I own a Browning A-Bolt II varmit, and while I love the gun, the trigger is a little heavy; so I was wandering if someone out there could tell me what my options are. Drop in, mechanically adjust, polish, etc?
Thanks,
Luke

Been awhile since I messed with mine---but here goes.
You have to remove the floorplate and turn down(clockwise) the tiny screw that is hidden in there---that will decrease the poundage of the trigger pull---No other adjustments by the user should be done.
No aftermarket triggers are available that I'm aware of-----Any other work should be done by a gunsmith.

Thanks Omaha,
The screw was there, just as you said. I didn't actually try any adjusting, yet. I didn't have my little screwdrivers handy, and that is a little screw.

If the screw in question is inside a small coil spring, then the screw doesn't adjust the trigger pull weight. At least, that's the way it is on a Micro-Medalion. Could be different on the A-Bolt, I suppose.
