I believe it is a slightly different version of the cz75 in 9mm

Its a steel framed fullsize gun. It has a light rail like the PO1 and night sights..its designed for Entry Level Competition gun.

Id love one in Single Action with a trigger job and 18 rnds of 9mm :)

I've been lusting over the CZ SP-01 for months now.

3 questions:

1) What is the proposed release date and is it a limited run to be released or a regular production model?

2) What is the proposed retail price? (IIRC, I remember reading ~$600?)

3) It is a DA/SA with a safety and no decocker, right?

From what I have been told..there is supposedly a shipment of SP01 on the way to the US..they would need to clear customs..but people on CZforum are speculating hopefully a few weeks..

not heard on price..but seems most CZs are in that ball park..

and it is a DA/SA with manual safety.

Actually the ones in production now are trad. DA/SA but later on they will have a decocker version coming out.
