I just bought a little Mauser 7.65 auto.
On the right side it reads- Mauser - 7,65 Germany
On the left it reads Waffenfabrik Mauser A_G Oberndorf A N
Below that is the Mauser badge
It is in good internal condition with a clean bore and perfect wood grips
However it looks like someone steel wooled all the bluing off.
It looks like this: although this is not a picture of mine.

That is an old gun. If you didn't buy it from a gun shop, I'll have it checked out by a gunsmith before shooting it.
From the looks of it, it is chambered in 32 acp. But I could be wrong since there were at least dozens of .30/.32 caliber handgun cartiages around when this gun was made.

This is either Mauser 1914 or 1914/34, and yes, it fires 7.65x17SR Browning ammo, better known in US as .32ACP

Straight grip back says that it is a 1914. 1934s were rounded.

Thanks,
I couldn't find much info on it except on some gun auction sites.
