i am looking for a good set of scope mounts for my win coyote in 243 wssm. was looking at the nikon ultralok model but don't know much about them. anyone else have any experience with these or any other advice thanks.

From what folks have said on the Internet, I dunno if there's such a thing as "bad" rings and bases.

I've used Weaver stuff for forty forevers, just because I'm a cheapskate. But, they've never failed me on my '06s and other stuff.

Conetrols work quite well, thank you, and they're classy looking. I use them on my little Sako .243.
