Was passing by the ammo counter at Wal-Mart tonight while buying some groceries (yeah, guess I do have my priorities straight!) and noticed they bumped up the price of the Win-Whitebox .32ACP to almost $ 13 ,from $ 11 and change just a few days earlier.

Anybody else notice this? I like to use that to practice with in my P-32. But if the price keeps going up like that, I'll have to start shooting/carrying my 1911 more often

Even .380ACP is now cheaper - by almost 2 bucks a box :fire:

Eh, this morning I bought 2 boxes of .380 Remington...$20 and change  Ridiculous. So much for putting a little money into the community. What a ripoff. I'm going to order out again.

I don't shoot Blazers or WWB flat nose, the gun doesn't like them. So much for the cheap stuff. At least it didn't in the first 300rds. I have 900 in it now, and in fact I just thought today about trying out the stuff it didn't like to see if it'll feed them now.

Yes to the prices! Another disapponting thing is that our Wal-Mart doesnt have the selection, and even worse, when ya finally get someone to the sporting goods service counter to assist you, with the exception of one gentleman, the rest don't have a clue about ammo! If they do have it, you need a long pointer stick to actually show them THE BOX or the stack you want (from the other side of the counter, of course.)
Shorts, where do you order from?? Maybe they would have the 158 gr Remington 357's I have not been able to find :)

Yep, some of the prices just don't make sense. Wonder where the price slashing bouncy yellow ball was????

I still don't order ammo online. Old fashioned, I guess. But when I do find a good price on ammo locally (Wal Mart, Academy) I buy a good bit of it. After going through that ammo, I am sometime surprised at the price change.

I saw diesel fuel priced at $2.12 this morning and I know it's higher in other parts of the country. This will directly affect the cost of goods because everything has to be shipped and delivered to the retail outlets. I would not be surprised to see heavy items (like ammunition) being the first to show this increased transportation cost.

S&B .32acp can be had for as little as $6 per box from web sites like cheaper than dirt, shooting zoneor cabelas.

I would be careful of the aguila .32acp because I found it doesn't have the OAL to function in many pocket gun magazines.
