Does anyone here have any experience with either Miltech or Fulton Armory? My M1 Carbine from Fulton is going to be here (hopefully) on monday...after many delays from Fulton, and then being shipped ground by mistake. I was not really impressed with Fultons customer service, and was thinking about Miltech for my next one. Comments?

MilTech built me the impossible - a MOA Winchester carbine. It took more than half a year from order to delivery, but that gun is a joy to shoot, and shoot it I do!!!

Met the owner and had a rare tour of their facility. The guy who tests all their rifles shoots at my gun club. Great people, SOLID product. And a wood crate to boot! Some pics in My M1 Carbine gallery

You will not find a more stand up group anywhere. One of these days...

If you run into the Miltech smith at our club, don't plan on doing any shooting for a while as he'll let you spend as much time as you want fondling and drooling over the large pile of guns (works of art) he's "testing". And while you're fondling, he'll be giving you the history, description and specific details of the gun. What a great guy.

And they do everything required, even rebuild old scopes. I had the opportunity to fondle a K98 Sniper rifle with the quick-detach optics recently. They did a ground up rebuild of the gun and scope and boy was she sweet!

Sheesh, what a tough job.

Manoman....sounds like a phone call to Miltech is coming soon. And waiting six months does not sound so bad, considering I waited a year for the one from Fulton Armory....and it was one screw up after another. Thank you very much for the input.

Got my Miltech Garand back in 1993. Great folks to deal with.

Been having fun with it ever since. :)
