i know on the classic sigs you can interchange the .357 and .40 barrels, does the same go for the sig pros??

Yup, the mags even say both calibers on them.*
The 2340's can interchange between .40 and 357SIG.
I don't know about 9mm or the 2009.
I think it would be cool to have a 9mm barrel, and a couple of mags, but I don't know it it works like that, since they went to the trouble of making it a different model number.

You can't shoot .40 in a 9mm pistol because the breachface is too narrow.

Some aftermarket companies make 9mm barrels that will go in a .40 slide. The breachface is too big, but the extract ok anyway. Technically, not a good idea, but it works.

I knew there was a reason I didn't own a conversion barrel.
I was hoping that firedragon made 'em, but I think they no longer plan to.

I have put together a "group purchase" for the first Bar-Sto 9mm conversion barrels for the Sig Pro SP 2340 (.40 Auto or .357 Sig).
