I got a nice 10 point rack at a garage sale that had been coated with polyurethane. I used paint remover to take the poly off and the antlers turned white . Any body ever tried coloring antlers before? Alot of knowledge in this forum.

I'd guess brown shoe polish. Try some on an unobtrusive area such as the back side of a tine, where it wouldn't readily be seen.

Maybe a walnut stain? Same caveat about trial.

Generally, the more coats of whatever works, the darker it will get...

i'd say a gel or a paste stain... wipe it on, let it set a few minutes and wipe it off...

Look up Van Dyke's Taxidermy supply online. There is a compound made just for what you want to do. I think it's called...antler stain. And it's not very expensive.
