Is it a true left-hand action or a right-hand action in a left-hand stock?

Check with Charles Daly at their Harrisburg,Pa service facility. Theirs is a TRUE left hand, not a conversion of a right-hand to a left-hand operation.

What is wrong with your bolt?

I had an overload expand a case head on my '75 manuf. MkX, and sheared off the small projection on the bolt face adjacent to the locking lug at the extractor cut. My gunsmith knew a retired engineer at/from the Savannah River Site who could do plasma welding where it could be repaired without affecting the heat treating of the lugs.
Cost me 60.00 to get it "fixed"; less than the cost of a new bolt!
(was done in conjunction with rebarreling/rebluing from .30/06 to .338/06)

A TRUE left hand bolt won't work on a right hand action. A right hand action will be modified (beyond cutting and rewelding just the bolt handle) to make a Left Hand action. Machining of the action will be required (expensive!)

That means, a GOOD gunsmith should be able to craft a new bolt for your LH conversion from another right handed bolt. Would be easier for him if he had/has your OLD bolt in hand to see what was done to it.

A NEW RIGHT HAND bolt can be gotten from GunParts for less than $100.00 (about 75.00 plus shipping). Either way, the bolt will require fitting to the action due to headspacing tolerance requirements.

Good Luck!
