Anyone have any thoughts on this pistol? I can get one for a real good price here on clearance and am thinking it may make a good truck CC gun. You know, one ya wouldn`t care if it was scratched up rideing under the seat or bouncing loose in the glove box.

I have a P95d and it is a great gun. It is the 9mm version of the 97. You should get it while you can, it has been discontinued and replaced with the P345. I have heard it is very accurate, reliable, and rugged. If it feels good to you get it!

If the P97 is comfortable in your hand, go for it. Or, consider a P90. The aluminum frame isn't much heavier than the plastic. If it's in your truck and not a carry, the difference won't matter.

Ugly but functional. Good shooter. Get it.

Love mine. Pretty darn accurate, reliable, light and reasonably comfortable. I actually think they are one of the more attractive plastic guns.

For an inexpensive (not cheap) gun, I have been pleasantly surprised at how accurate the 97 is. You won't be disappointed.
