What is the rifling twist? I want to use it for 500 yard targets, so I'll be using heavier bullets.

Also, does anyone know the weight of this rifle? If you own it, does it feel very barrel-heavy like a Savage 10FP? Is it something you can carry around for a while, or is it a very heavy target weight barrel.

Thanks,
PAC

ETA- How is the trigger? Does it have the set-trigger feature of other CZ's?

Well, I own that model, and I can tell you a few things. Some people claim that it has a 1 in 9, others a 1 in 12. I emailed CZ and the guy said a 1 in 12, but I'm pretty sure he was mistaken on what gun I have. So, I have tried 40,50,52 and 69 grain bullets in it. My initial trial run with the 69s showed a dissapointing lack of accuracy. 50s have worked the best for me. For comparison, with 50g Blitzkings I almost always get under 1/2" at 100, and under 1.5" at 300. I just tried a couple of loads of 69 grains matchkings, and I used h335 powder, which is probably not the best for it. The best group I got at 100 was 1.5" with the 69s. Note though that I didn't experiment very much yet, but first impressions were not encouraging with heavier bullets.

Oh, and take a look over at CZ's official forum, they have lots of posts on this topic.

That model has a 1-12 twist. Only the 527 Varmint Kevlar has the 1-9 twist.

I got that right from CZ in a conversation with one of their tech people.
