ARe Lee dies universal? maning, if i buy a set of Lee dies, will they fit ANY lee press? The press i have in mind is a 10 year old Rotary press (not sure of the model name) that has not been used.

And what size primers does a 6.5x55 Swede take?

Thanks

Lee dies are standard size and thread -- they will fit any Lee press, and any standard press made by any other maker.

The 6.5X55 takes Large Rifle Primers.

Nothing to do with lee dies. Vern, in looking up 22 hornet loading I run across post you made about squirrel hunting. You reply to someone that asked what did you do with them- then what do they taste like- was great. I just turned 71 and loved that why the taste like squirrel answer.
Keep up posts like this. Just rcieved Hornet but weather too crummy crummy to shoot .

Thanks, Richard.

I have a reputation for being crusty -- a lady asked me once, "Why would ANYONE kill a deer?"

I said, "I have to -- if I don't, they keep jumping out of the frying pan." :p

Vern, that was a perfect reply. You might also have said,

"its much easier getting the deer onto the spit if its dead."

Vern, my favorite response: If God didn't intend for me to eat them, He wouldn't have made them out of meat! :neener:

Vern, I LOVE that reply. I'll have to remember that.

The deer I shot with my 6.5x55 using ammo loaded by Lee dies, isn't jumping out of the pan. :D

There is a reply made by a foxhunter, "Madam, it is a fox's nature to be hunted, and man's nature to hunt him."
