Kudos to the RCBS service department. After about 20 years of use, the plastic cylinder in my Lil Dandy powder measure cracked. I placed a call to customer service today. The only question they asked was what address I want the free replacement part mailed to. The whole call took about 30 seconds.

The world would be a better place if more companies stood behind their products the way RCBS does.

I agree totally. I have had similar experiences with them over the years.

Ditto - I recieved an RCBS Jr press as a gift some time ago, been out of production since 1978. I needed the other primer cup, and a primer catcher. They sent the complete primer arm assembly, and a catcher for nothing. I told them I didn't pay for it, and she said, "Sir, it has our name on it." I said, "Ma'am, the next press I get will also have your name on it!"

Dad had a 10-10 scale that he had broken 15 years ago and tried to repair himself. When he called RCBS to see about having it fixed so I could have it (thanks, dad!), they repaired it for no charge, even replacing the missing weight and scale pan.

I called and asked for the manual for the used Rock Chucker I bought. Two days later I had it, with a catalog and a brochure for beginning reloaders.

When I called to buy a primer cup from them, and a replacement for a die part I had buggered up, they wouldn't let me pay. Sent me the die part, and a whole primer arm with both cups, and an extra spring, for no charge. I asked the gentleman when they were going to let me pay for something. "We haven't decided that yet."

I've had the same experience with RCBS. I called for a part that was broken due to MY actions, and they replaced it free. I offered to pay, but they would have none of that. :)

I too have had great experience with RCBS. I called to ask them a question about my Pro 2000. They told me the part had been upgraded and sent me the new part at no charge.

My wife and I had bought a used Piggyback II several years ago. After reloading many, many rounds through it it was starting to have a few issues. One phone call to RCBS and they said send it in.

I stripped off the shell plate holder and a couple of small parts and mailed it off. About two weeks later we get our Piggyback II back fully rebuilt back to factory new! Including a new shell plate holder and the assorted small parts that I took off of it!

I just ran about 800 rounds of 45 through it a couple of weeks ago and it worked great!

I can not fault RCBS for the customer service. They really go above and beyond.

I couldn't agree more. Even better than Bear Coat!

I have no experience with RCBS warranty service, other than de-capping pins (4 penny finishing nail works just as good) I have never had any of their stuff break.

I tried using an old drill bit. Worked for a few hundred rounds, but eventually damaged the die.

I asked how to buy a new one (couldn't find the right part # on their site) and they had a new one out to me right away. Sent me a package of de-capping pins too.
