I've decided i'd like to become a certified personal defense instructor. But i'm having trouble finding things like locations were classes are offered, pre reqs, costs, were classes are being held etc etc.
Im a MN resident. can anybody help me out here? the NRA website is a little vague.

Suggestions:
- Call the N.R.A. and tell them what you are looking for. They will have a list of trainers and will locate the closest one for you.
- Ask at your local gun club or shooting range if they know any N.R.A. trainers they can recommend. That's how I found the man who trained me in Pistol Discipline to become an instructor.
Good luck.

Minnesota?? You are in luck. There is an NRA training counselor in Mora that has fairly frequent instructor classes. HIs name is John Friedstrom and his e-mail is jcfskeet@aol.com

Try this link -
http://www.nrahq.org/education/training/find.asp
This will at least give you contacts to find a counselor, and some doing the regular classes are counselors also, like Sue Bierly from the Rochester area.

There is a substantial thread here (http://thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=129784) on this very topic.
