I was on a mission... looking for a 228 for $500 >, a 2009 for $400>, or a CZPCR or $450>.

I circled left through the show, a nice 225 for 450 ...hmmm. a really nice rebuilt GLock 19 w/ 2 hicaps for $439 hmmmm. A 2009 for $399, but it only has 10rders and is missing the other grip panel. Finally a 228 .. $750!!!!!

Keep looking ... keep looking ... man thats the nicest Stevens 311 I have ever seen. 20g, 24" barrels, English stock in beatiful walnut, choocked M and IC ... $600 hmm ... no I need a carry gun. FOCUS!!!!

Ahah ... a 228 ... for $525 ... hmmm, blued, night sights and 10rders, "been papered never shot" says dealer ... right I think. He is not lying. Not a scratch on it. Will he take my Walther P22 and $300 for it ... DEAL!!!!

Man is it sweet, and I still have a Fobus paddle holster waiting for it at home I never used for a 226 I dalied with last year.

SIG fans .. what now, besides try to wear it out?????

PS: The show sucked. High prices, not enough dealers.

I went looking for a CZ 75 9mm. Never have handled one. I looked pretty thoroughly, I think, but I saw only one in .40 cal.

Are CZ that hard to find in the Atl area?

Congrats on our purchase.

CZs aren't too common in most places. Your best bet is to ask a gun shop to order one for you. Get the exact model you want and probably for around $400.

in norcross there is a place called CZ connection...i've seen it on gunbroker.com... from what i have read there they seem to have or have access to pretty much any CZ you could want.... i dont know about how competitive their prices are however. I personally would love a PCR and a 97B

Call The Gun Shop in Norcross Ga. They are also known as CZ Connection. Phil the owner .. a sometimes difficult individual to deal with, carries every CZ you can think of. I was in his shop the other day and saw at least 50 CZ handgun boxes. I know he had a bundle of 75s, PO1s and PCRs. Also he has the LOWEST CZ prices I have ever seen. He has a great deal going with CZUSA.

I saw a few 75s at the show, all used. Guy in the far back right corner with all the suplus rifles had a nice one in a glass case. Did not get a price though... it should be around $300.

I've bought at least a half dozen guns from Phil in the last few years (mostly CZ's) and he does have some great prices. Never had a problem with Phil, he always tried to find what I wanted. His CZ collection it's just great, if you like CZs.

Now, if I could find a different way home from work, I wouldn't HAVE TO go by his store every day and maybe I wouldn't buy so many guns.... Nahhhh :D

I bought both my CZ's from Phil a few years ago. Best prices around and I got what I expected. Both are damn fine guns.
