... why the price of used 3rd generation Glock 21s are dropping? A year ago I couldn't touch one for under $475. Now they are being listed in the for sale section of several boards at $425 and going un-touched. Are all Glocks dropping or just the ones that I own?

I believe that it's because of the rail problem. Even though it is mainly limited to certain "E" series Glocks, people have been scared away from any third gen pistol.

It could be fall out over the comments made by a Glock VP a few weeks ago. There were many calls for a boycott after that, and we saw what that did to S&W, something simlar could be happening to Glock.

There are many many many (did I say many?) threads about it over at Glock Talk (http://www.glocktalk.com/search.php?action=showresults&searchid=713461&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending) if you want to read up on it. Things have died down a bit, but there were a lot of very angry customers over it.
