Does anyone have any experience with them???
I am considering putting one on my next AR purchase and $160 on cheaperthandirt.com seems pretty nice, it will either be a Bushmaster 16" A3, or the Super V match 16"
Also, local gun store has a Super V match 16" w/ Leupold scope(unsure as to what model, owner stated it was "tactical") for
$1259.00. It would appear to be a fair price, but is it??

This is my experience with Leupold and their Red Dot scope:

It doesn't really answer your question because my application was completely different. I have heard from a couple of local shooters that this line of scopes has been discontinued by Leupold because of numerous warranty problems, but frankly that's unconfirmed gossip; I haven't researched the validity of that claim, which was made by a couple of local bullseye shooters. Whatever the truth of the "rumor" I'd never deal with the Red Dot nor Leupold again.

I like mine, but do not think they are worth the extra bucks and would not buy another. The polygonal shape makes buying aftermarket rings impossible. Consider the Ultradot. It is just as good and cheaper.
