is the yugo sks trigger group interchangable with other countries of origin?

I believe the trigger groups are identical.

Tapco may be another source for replacement parts.

What's broken about your safety?

If it hangs limply, then it's a broken safety spring, not a broken safety.

The safety lever itself probably broke off. Not uncommon among SKSs

Yes it was the lever that went kaput. Not a sign that I could see prior to the snap, I try to engage it after a day of plinking and suddenly I have half of a lever.
