say i'm shooting 2 3/4" 1 1/8oz loads, what affect would the heavier springs have? what about the lighter springs?

if my following things correctly, the lighter spring will release the gas sooner (reducing recoil?) and the heavier spring would hold the gas longer. right?

The main thing is shell ejection, if you find that your shells are going to far use a heavier spring.

reverse, if shells are going too far use a lighter spring, this will slow the bolt speed down...
