Who are you boycotting? And why?

There's been a lot of discussion about boycotting French and German products (and for good reason), but are there any local, or national, businesses or groups you are boycotting? If so, why? Tell us your story. Maybe someone else has similar issues and we can elevate the pressure.

I'm boycotting baseball. I've been an avid Red Sox fan all my life but the strike talk last summer finished me off. Screw those overpaid, whiny richard-heads.
Oh, and yes I've been boycotting the French for pretty much my entire life. Remember Howard Stern's first book, Private Parts? He had a great chapter - People I Hate. First entry in this chapter? Ze French. He was simply ahead of his time.

Assorted companies and knife makers that have in place their own "LE/Military Only" rules on merchandise it is perfectly legal to sell to anyone.

Boycotting the town of Princeton, NJ...not only are they one of the towns to pass a resolution opposing the war, they have since revived the Bastille Day celebration...not to mention claiming that it has 'nothing' to do with current events.
Other than that, just the usuals.

How do I boycott a state? I don't buy anything made in these states and I don't buy from companies in those states because a little bit of my sale goes toward business and other taxes in the area.
I do make one exception. I'll buy ATF items: alcohol, tobacco and firearms.

Unless the people are quite obviously attempting to cramp my lifestyle, boycotting isn't worth my time and effort.
I'd rather spend my time, money, and effort changing this one corporation that is constantly depriving me of my property to distribute to others and my natural rights...can anyone guess what this company is called?

I dunno about Hallmark.

Actually, Ben & Jerry's, the corporation, sent no money to support Mumia. Ben or Jerry (I forget which) sent money from his personal funds.
Also, Ben & Jerry's is no longer owned by the two men who founded it.

Hospitals and Funeral Homes. More people die in hospitals than any other single location and the Funeral Homes gut you like a wild hog, stuff you in a far too expensive box and stuff you in the ground.
I'll just live forever and forgo their services.

that gideon whomever thats a "news" anchor for them is such a, wait i cant say what he is here.... hes a wuss, thats what he is.
"oh no! in reporter training the military had guns and were shooting them all around us, it was soo scary. but all these soldiers in the middle east are just family loving guys that dont want to be here, they didnt want to come to war, they just wanted an education".
i hate mtv and its willingness to bend to the sheeples demands, yet oddly enough every character they have on their "reality" shows smokes heavily. talk about hypocrisy.

My list of boycotts:
KMart
All French cary companies
Rosie
That show, The View I never feel more conservative or more male than when watching it.
'Reality' shows
Pretty much all talk shows from 9am - 4pm
So, no KMart, no Target... If we skip WalMart, where do we go?
And spacemanspiff, If we had any laws governing truth in advertising, Music TeleVision would certainly have to change its name... :p

I don't neccesarily have so much of a boycott list as I do a list of places that I try to spend my money. Sure, I boycott the usual:
Rosie McFatso (fat, angry, and anti-gun)
Kmart (pulled ammo from shelves)
Vons (contributes to the Stop the Violence campaign)
but the deal is that even if they weren't anti-gun, I still wouldn't be giving them the time of day.
Rosie was fat and annoying prior to being outspoked on guns, and I don't watch TV at that time anyway. I pretty much avoid the whole talk show thing, altogether.
Kmart is nowhere near my house, and Target is nicer, anyway.
Vons has that stupid membership card that you have to give them all your info so they can sell your name to ad lists, or otherwise you have to pay their horrible prices.
I prefer to vote in the election booth more than with my wallet.
blah blah blah...

Hallmark, Sara Lee, Kmart.
Also, any place that has a "No Concealed Weapons" sign. If they are not going to allow me to protect myself, I'm not going to support that business.
I also do not buy gas at gas stations that have a prepay only policy. Those people do not even know me, but they are saying that they think I am a thief and I am going to steal their gas.
Oh yeah, and S&W of course.
And Kalifornia.

I boycotted California in that I turned down a decent job offer there last year. Though I was excited at the prospect at first, I began checking into things like gun laws and crime rates, etc.
Now, I still don't regret my decision, even though I make $12000 less per year than what I could've been making in California.

Radio Shack;
Those pin heads don't stand behind their products. I had the transformer on a scanner burn out in 9 months. I took it back because the warranty was for a year. The manager said they can't do any thing because I didn't have the original reciept or papers. It was a CHRISTMAS GIFT!!! He said he was sorry but you can contact the regional manager yada yada yada.:fire: All this trouble for a $10 transformer. They lost my business FOREVER. Never ever buy anything from Radio Shack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cuss:
