Looking for some ideas of places within the USA where can hunt wild pig. Interested in Spot and Stalk. Looking for public land areas, not private caged in hunts. So far have found some good info on hunting in Hawaii, but looking for other area in the lower 48. Thanks.

Georgia and Florida are robust with wild hogs and plenty of public land too.
I hunt Javalina on base here and so far have taken 3 of the rascals.
And yes, its approved thru the Arizona Game and Fish department. :)

East Texas a possibility. Lots of unwanted hog and quite a bit of public land. Locations/maps now viewable from Texas Parks & Wildlife web site. Unfortunately, there is a "season" for feral hog on lots of public land. In general, some unhuntable generally March thru September.
But ... I would not necessarily plan on "spot and stalk". East Texas hunting would be more "stalk-and-hopefully-spot-before-they-spook".

Many different places in CA. You can find many guides on pvt and public land.
