So I'm travelling through Western NY on business earlier this week. I stop into Avon Gun & Pawn on a lark.

They had the following revolvers in the case for sale:

SW 696-1 3" 44 special in superb condition for $440.
2 Colt Detective Special 3rd Issue in great shape at $300 each
SW M-15 2" Combat Masterpiece, also very nicely preserved for $225
2 SW M-10 RB 2" and a 3" for $200 each
Colt Python 4" in royal blue, also at a great price.

I'm tapped out right now, but if anyone is interested, they are there for the taking.....

If this place is in a small Plaza across from Mickey-D's I used to go there. The original owner was Lee Schulteis from Arkport and he had some real cream as far as gun's went. I called up there a couple of year's ago looking for a S&W revolver and was told Lee sold the shop and the new owner did not have all the older S&W revolver's that Lee used to pride in. he went on to say he did not have much in High end long gun's either.. Sad but nothing stay's the same... Regards, Hammerdown.

Yep, that's the one. Their are a lot of aging collectors in the Finger Lakes that occassionally part with their stuff.

I have always found a handful of nice stuff in the Avon store.
